AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar trials and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Transformations
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
